College GOP Official Resigns After Stupid Slur

Adam LaDuca, the executive director of the Pennsylvania Federation of College Republicans, was forced to step down after some racially tinged insults directed at Barrack Obama and Cubans were found on his MySpace. He wrote that Obama has "a pair of lips so large he could float half of Cuba to the shores of Miami (and probably would.)" Then he added: "And man, if sayin' someone has large lips is a racial slur, then we're ALL in trouble."

It's kind of amazing someone can combine two classic stereotypes for one lame joke and be preemptively angry at anyone who dares call him out on it. Not to mention, the guy is so oblivious about people with different ethnic backgrounds than his own that he doesn't even realize that Cuban Americans, as a group, are some of the strongest supporters of the GOP in the country.

Its too bad that Tom "Miami is a Third World Country" Tancredo is retiring, because DeLuca could have probably scored a prime spot on his staff as a fallback gig.
