Two Vimeo users recently pointed their time-lapse cameras on Miami and achieved some pretty stunning results. The above video by Lonny Paul shows downtown at dawn. Down town Miami is struggling to make a come back, just like OverTown and most of Greater Miami.
I recall as a young boy in the 60s going down town with my family at 8 or 9 o'clock at night.
Walgreen's was open, the movie theater was packed with families and the streets were safe.
Now for some time since, down town Miami died,,,the smell of urine as the sun rises left from the homeless there and steel shutter doors on every little shop that can not afford a security guard.
Let's see how the latest plans to revitalize down town goes...competing with South Beach, the design district and Aventura,
