Tons of Weed and Nobody to Smoke It

Categories: News

With indoor grow houses taking over the marijuana market, you don’t hear about people smuggling weed into the U.S. much anymore. But this past Saturday, at the Port of Miami, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement found 6,000 pounds of pot in burlap sacks, sent from Jamaica. Were talking about a street value of $12 million - by far the largest single bust in Miami this year.

Daily papers haven’t reported it yet, but the press release (which we received a few minutes ago) leaves New Times with one crucial follow-up question: Who gets to keep all of that, maaaan?
