Jay-Z's Cancellation Leaves Fans Pissed and "Smelling Like Ass"

Jay-Z canceled his second "Last Chance for Change" concert in support of Barack Obama yesterday due to a soar throat or some such. Many fans had waited in long lines for tickets for the first event, only to be turned away. Only to finally snagged tickets when the second show was announced. Then, according to Miami, Bro concert goers weren't notified the Hova was sick until they had already trekked out to Bayfront park in the middle of the sticky, hot day.

Idolator has a whole slew of pissed off responses posted to AllHipHop.com, but our favorite comes from commenter "ButterBalls":

"this doesnt change my vote for obama and i hope no one else changes but damn Jay. You couldn't come out and let us know what was wrong. Yea in the hot ass 305 wet, waiting for you, not fair. i came home smelling like ass and i passed on my midterm. I can go on man but screw this i got to give my professors this bootleg doctors note for missing my test."

Hmmm, Obama is associated with this rapper fellow who apparently makes his fans skip out on their educational obligations and leaves them smelling like ass. Butterballs, you may hope this doesn't change anyone's vote, but some desperate flak in the McCain campaign is probably putting together an attack ad right now hoping otherwise.
