Manny Being Manny (And Shooting for That Cabinet Job)

So we've got this little economic downturn going on, in case you've already taken up residence in your new tent city and haven't heard the news.

But don't worry about it. Manny knows how to cure what ails us.

Miami's suddenly superstar mayor, who has been rumored as a candidate for everything from Secretary of Transportation to Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, sounded off to Reuters today about how to fix the economy.

The answer, according to Manny, is infrastructure. Lots and lots of delicious, government-funded infrastructure.

Manny is not so clear on how all of these wonderful bridges, roads, and public works projects are going to fix the worst condo-market in the country, but cut the guy some slack. He can't solve ALL of our problems in one day.
