Thursday Night Football: Canes vs Virginia Tech

The sports press has a crush on all the young, true freshman on University of Miami's footballing sports crew, but they aren't sure if they're ready to commit. Sure, the Canes have won four in a row and have an actual chance to take home their first ACC title, but their dreams about riding of into the sunset on green and orange Unicorns with the title in one arm and the sports pundits in the other will almost certainly be dashed. The techies have won four of the last five meetings between the teams and share an identical record in the ACC and out. They also blew the Canes out of the water last season. Fear not though, most of the pigskin oracles are predicting a Canes win. We shall see.

P.S. This is the first Hurricanes game in four weeks that will air on a teevee channel most of Miami gets. But It'll be on against The Office and 30 Rock the best things on the tube this season.
