OJ Simpson faced anywhere from six years to life for his conviction for armed robbery last month. He ended up with 15 years (though other reports are claiming he may serve up to 18, I guess the legal experts are still working out the math), and will not be eligible for parole for at least six, possibly nine. The sentence is seen as some by light, because he will serve time for all the felonies he was convicted of concurrently, instead of consecutively. It's no guarantee that he'll be giving parole.
The sentencing came after an over the top speech in which Simpson said, "I was stupid. I'm sorry. I didn't know I was doing anything illegal. I
