Like so many good boys and girl, Riptide dreams of sugar-plum fairies and Ol' Saint Nick delivering a shiny new iPhone. 'Tis the season for the 3G mobile Internet and being able to watch dumb YouTube videos of dogs dancing to Beyonce anywhere we want.
But woah to one Miami man who had his iPhone dreams come true, only to take a short trip to France and come back with a $4,109.76 bill. So angry was he that of course a YouTube video had to be made.
We don't have an extra 4G around to pay for our international 3G (then again, we don't have any scratch for a jaunt to France anytime soon either), so iPhone India has a couple of suggestions for how iPhone-owning jet setters can keep their bill down.
Maybe someone should have communated with AT&T prior to jetting of to France to see if there were going to be extra charges from across the pond. The funny thing is if he would have called prior to going, AT&T would have given him a European package that would have cost a few hundred instead. Travel wise and don't be iPhone foolish.
