Obama to Be Honored in Opa-locka Alongside Other Fake Arabs

It is probably for the best that respected newspapers such as USA Today (at this point respected not because of journalistic integrity but because it's not on the total brink of bankruptcy and collapse) don't yet allow their journalists to inject snark into stories, but sometimes you can tell they want to so, so much. So here is the joke that Clay Carey so wanted to make with his story "Obama to Join Literary Characters in Florida":
See, Obama is being honored with a street named after him in Opa-locka. This town also has many streets named for characters from The Arabian Nights. Obama is a fake Arab because Rush Limbaugh and some cat lady in Minnesota think he is an Arab, while these literary characters are fake Arabs because they are fictitious. Hardy har.
