State Lawmakers Pull an All-Nighter at the BCS

Things were really weird yesterday (Did you miss me? No? Oh,thanks.), and I ended up briefly at the Opa-locka Executive Airport before heading up to West Palm Beach, only to turn around and drive back to Miami. Anyway, the runway was busy with lots of bigwigs flying in for the BCS game. Bigwigs such as a pack of Republican state lawmakers from the Orlando area who flew in on a charter jet owned by a lobbyist. They supposedly paid their own way, though, but they didn't get back to Tallahassee until 4 a.m. and then spent all of today in this special session. The Buzz has the details.
