Bill McCollum Bravely Keeps Us Safe From Misleading Enviga Claims
The green tea energy drink claimed that it burnt more calories than it contained, and could help drinkers burn an additional 100 calories a day. Further studies revealed that the calorie burning effects could not be sustained over regular use, and didn't contribute to weight loss.
If Enviga continues to claim to burn calories it must also contain a conspicuous warning on its package that it does not contribute to weight loss. The company also had to pay the states $650,000.
Thank you Attorney General Bill McCollum from keeping the idiots who actually thought drinking 3 cans of sparkling green tea a day would lead to significant weight loss safe from their own stupidity.
