As knowledgeable people about Manhattan know I served as a minor elected official there just after, during, and just before some of the largest development deals ever done there.I can say from real experience the one thing that can kill either the "deal" or give it a long, lingering death, is overreaching such as this total manure from this ethically-challeneged woman with potential criminal charges in the past in similiar situations. World Wide Plaza, the Bill Zeckendorf deal, was successful for the community because extorting non-profits were kept out of the deal. Another deal, which went thru, did so without any community ammenities unlike World Wide Plaza because of just such "ethnic" Blackmail that so antagonised the tax paying public they killed all public amendities for the neighborhood in question. But, for those of us who think the Marlin Deal stinks from start to finish, there is the Yankee Stadium on the West Side of Billionaire New York Mayor Bloomberg. NEVER HAPPENED! Because everything including used kitchen sinks were brought into the "mix" to placate the public, and the think just sank with the weight. Spencer-Jones might think Black blackmail may keep this turkey for another Thanksgiving, my thought it shows the deal is no-good, unworkable, and a screwing of both the tourist industry - the raison d'etre of Miami's existance - and the tax paying public - no matter what double-talk Burgess and his burglars give out! And the Herald? They will go into bankruptcy liquidation as soon as their real estate is sold and couldn't care less about the future of Miami!

This Staduim deal MUST be approved!! Baseball is vital to S. Florida. It is Baseball that has provided for the educators of this area and lined thier pockets with the wealth they enjoy today. It is Baseball that has provided the jobs for this entire region and unemployment is a thing of the past. It is Baseball that causes the sun to rise and will repell any rising seas in the years to come. Without baseball this area will be thrown into darkness and despair. Baseball is the life blood of this strong and mighty region and the reason we ALL get out of bed in the morning with smiles on our faces and the energy of the gods. Baseball! Baseball! Baseball! DONT you goddamned stupid son of a bitches UNDERSTAND?!!
