When President Obama wasn't bailing out America's troubled cute industry yesterday with the unveiling of new First Dog Charles Beauregard "Bo" Hussein Kennedy-Obama, he found time to kick his support behind America's bid to host the FIFA World Cup in either 2018 or 2022.

He wrote a letter that was hand-delivered to FIFA's president, Joseph S. Blotter, according to the New York Times.

"Soccer is truly the world's sport, and the World Cup promotes camaraderie and friendly competition across the globe," the president wrote, because apparently he is an elitist communist who is not content with simple, American sports such as football and baseball.

Miami Gardens' Dolphin Stadium is on the list of 70 possible stadiums that could host games if the World Cup does come to America's shores for the first time since 1994.
