I think the Poem Depot has been on the same corner the last 3 months of Art Walks.

A really bad showing this month overall. Maybe half the usual galleries were open and there wasn't much to see. OHWOW's hot streak came to an end with a crappy (and incomplete) installation.

Poem Depot is not cool. They should not perform perform during Gallery Walk. The most interesting Artists and Art is in the Museums and Galleries not on the street. If you think Peom Depot is so cool then run away with the circus and see how far that gets you. The Art Walk is not a carnival it is a place for serious art and artists to exhibit their art work. Show some respect. There is a reason they get shooed away by the cops. Which is something that is not happening to the more serious artists performing in the galleries. Get real.

i am the poet who performs with the drum circle in the street. i have worked for twenty years at what i do. i am a serious artist. i seriously enjoy playing in the street. you are upset that poem depot and ourselves are actual artists that forgo the usual commercial overheads that force you to compromise what you do in order to pay rent. that is all. we are the real deal, like holifield. see how pro i am? smooth.
