Around Town This Weekend

This time next week, (let's hope) you'll be basking in the glow of a three-day weekend, but for now, let the threat of showers make you glad you flaked on that visit to the car wash yesterday. Because former U.S. Sen. Bob Graham doesn't care if your whip is sparkling -- he wants to talk to you about his new book, America: The Owner's Manual. And both soulster Kawan DuBose and hard-rock rap band Purple Popcorn will certainly still sing you a song without judging.  

Tonight there's also a yoga fete at Green Monkey, Hot Nights and Cool Jazz at the Bass, and face-bashing Friday Night Fights at the Seminole Hard Rock.
