Beginning tonight and lasting through Sunday night, the Bank of America Tower (formerly the CenTrust Building), will be lit up black, gold, and green to commemorate the 47th anniversary of Jamaica's independence and celebrate the Jamaican diaspora's cultural contributions to South Florida.

According to Jamaica's Consul General, Sandra Grant Griffiths: "To see the Jamaican colors against the Miami skyline will be a visible symbol of the spirit and creativity of the Jamaican community."

Catch it while you can this weekend, and be sure to play some Bob Marley while you drive by.
