That's according to Fred Phelps and his insane band of hate mongers at the Westboro Baptist Church. This is the same group that held "God Hates Fags" signs outside of Matthew Shepard's funeral, protested funerals of Iraq War victims because God was punishing us for being a sinful nation, and recorded a version of Michael Jackson's "We Are the World," entitled "God Hates the World" after the pop star's death.
As if it wasn't bad enough for Gaga that she has to leave sunny Florida next week to play in St. Louis she'll be greeted by the Westboro "church."
It sent out a press release last week stating, "'Art' and 'fashion' are the euphemisms, the guise under which Lady Gaga teaches rebellion against God (incidentally, her claim to the title of 'Lady' is sound only if she tacks on 'of the night,' alluding to another euphemism for what she is). As much as she'd like to pretend otherwise, there's nothing new or different about this particular hussy's pretentious prancing. Does the simple slut truly think she can change God's standards by seducing a generation of rebels into joining her in fist-raised, stiff-necked, hard-hearted rebellion against Him? Get real!"
Seems the Westboro wackos are tougher music critics than Pitchfork.
