12 South Florida College Students Stuck in Haiti; Phone Line Set Up For those Seeking Info on Relatives

Categories: News
Twelve students from Lynn University in Boca Raton are amongst those stuck in Haiti in the aftermath of yesterday's devastating earth quake. One student was able to send a text message to a parent, and reports that all twelve are safe.

The group was traveling with Food for the Poor, a charitable organization that employs 600 people in Haiti. They're currently accepting donations to help with relief.

Meanwhile, The US State Department has set up a phone number for Americans seeking information on relatives who may have been affected. That number is 888-407-4747.
