of the culprit who thought he was reprising Wesley Snipes's role in U.S. Marshals. His name is Jonathan Henry Cobb, a 25-year-old Brownsville resident who booked it when a blue-and-white attempted to pull him over at NW Third Avenue and 12th Street.

According to the police report, Cobb matched the description of a "wanted person in reference to a Miami homicide." The narrative adds, "The defendant ran numerous red lights and stop signs at a high rate of speed, totally demonstrating a wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property."

Cobb was arrested for grand theft auto, fleeing and aggravated eluding, and resisting arrest without violence. Miami Police spokesman Napier Velazquez says he could not release more information about the homicide because the case is under investigation.
