Miami Still Part of USA's World Cup Bid

Categories: Sports
Dolphins Stadium might not be good enough for the Super Bowl anymore according the NFL, but the U.S. World Cup bid commission just put it on the shortlist to host games for their bid for either 2018 or 2022.

Previously the committee had its eyes on 29 cities, and narrowed it down to 18 today.  Atlanta, San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas, Seattle, Denver, Tampa, Indianapolis, Baltimore, Nashville, Kansas City, Houston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Boston, and New York are also still in the running.

Of course, the final list of venues that will host games in the massive tournament will be whittled down to about a dozen. Then all that needs to happen is that FIFA needs to pick the U.S. over every other city bidding.
