They no who yellow boy is but he only confessed to other roberries that he did before the murder but he didn't say or confess to anything about joslin Augustins murder So yellow man was only charged for robberies he's done in the past I know this because I wached the 48 hours on A&E about this murder But the gun man that shot the lady was an accident he said He said that he went got out of the car to get her purse and when he grabbed it the lady didn't let go so when she pulled back on the purse he squeezed the gun he had in his hand and shot her in the neck

He is a POS that deserves to die ASAP for what he did. The guy showed no remorse for anyone but himself. He lied and denied shooting her for as long as he could, even to his girlfriend. Chances are this is not the first person he has killed because it was too easy for him. He only wanted to save himself in the end.

I feel sorry for both. My heart goes to the Augustin's family, and to Wesley Henton too. I hope you will find God in your heart Wesley, I just finished watching A&E right now, I truly believe that Wesley regret what he's done to Augustin. My deepest symphaty to Augustin family.

We are all responsible for our actions. We are all givin a mind to think clearly. God wrote the ten commandments, but we all fall short of his glory by far! I feel for the families loss, I sheded tears when I saw the news when they asked the public for help! If it was my family I would want revenge in the worst way! But God said vengence is mine. I know that is hard to comprehend! I felt sympathy for the murderer only because I believe that the devil is responsible using people to do these things that hurt us so much! And when we do his work he sits back and laugh at the murderer and the victim. My heart goes out to all! He showed remorse, most of the people dont care when they get caught and that kills me. I know he wishes he could have done something different that day. My deepest sympathy to the Augustines family.

I just saw this very sad story on A&E a few minutes ago. My heart goes out to Mrs. Augustin's family. Even though this was 2 years ago we should continue to pray for them.It makes the story even more senseless when you learn that she had no money in her purse, had lost her home and was getting blankets from the self storage unit. We as a world owe it to her memory and her family to train children at an early age that life is valuable and also that you cannot take shortcuts (robbery, stealing) to get what you want. God rest her soul and grant her family peace.

I am a Haitain/American. In 2003 my 33 year old brother was shot and killed by a 18 yearold punk kid. It happened in broad daylight as my brother was on duty as a cab driver. He left behind four kids and a wife that absolutely adored him. Losing my brother was the worst thing that could have ever happened in our lives. We will never ever be the same. My deepest condolences goes out to the Augustines. You never imagine that something like this can happen in your family.....until it does. Only God knows why. Well,he should be trailed for this heinous crime.Somebody mentioned here about the lack of education for being a thug .That might be the reason,but for me the blame goes to their parents for giving them uncivilized upbringing and secondly the media,media glamorize a lot these sort of thugs by showing them in movie and they learn from there .

My heart goes out to the family because I went to school with their kids. I watched this on A&E, previously knew the story, but didn't feel it until I watched it. I work around criminals. Let me say, they are not remoarseful for their crimes-only that they got caught. This man lied until he could lie no more. It would have been easy for her to give up her purse, but why should vile, filthy, vermon like this think that they have rights to our hard work. It is sad. Education has nothing to do with this. This is greed and selfishness. Some are too lazy to get things the right way, so greed kicks in where they feel they are entitled to our hard work. Hang him by his scrotum, pour cooking oil on him, then light him on fire. Put him out of his misery and spare us tax payers money for a trial.

I live in New Orleans where I own a two story home and I am sick and tired of having to watch everything that moves. Black crime is the number one reason why many whites hate us. Yes, I said it and I am sorry if the truth hurts. Black criminals have made black neighborhoods war zones. I grew up poor and lived in the ghetto for much of my life but I used books to get me out. Not all whites are racist; many will give you the benefit of the doubt if one shows they want something out of life. This lady life was taken for nothing. Black Haitains outwork and out perform native blacks because they know what real poverty is like. The fact of the matter is that there are many good honest hard working African Americans but some of us want to be spoon fed. The government makes the problem worse by giving one welfare for bad pathological behavior. This is my take, angry black man in New Orleans.

The police just need to station a car at that location. It's a major thoroughfare for people coming off of I-95 and heading east and it's full of hookers. At least always have a cop driving between I-95 and Biscayne on 79th St.
