Rep. Steve King Proposes Deporting Haitians to Be Relief Workers

• "Illegal immigrants from Haiti have no reason to fear deportation, but if they are deported, Haiti is in great need of relief workers and many of them could be a big help to their fellow Haitians." Who is going to feed them back there ?

• There's truly no end to right wing cluelessness.

• What he said is ridiculous considering those asking for TPS come here with absolutely nothing but the clothes on their backs & are then placed into camps. "If I were living overseas" ... preposterous! They aren't "living" overseas, they're living in internment camps while awaiting asylum. Get a clue people.

He wants fellow countrymen to help fellow countrymen. Doesn't seem like too much of a stretch to me. If I was living overseas and something happened that affected America, I would come back and help. It's obvious that you wouldn't. But I do like your analogy game. • I think Rep. King has a very valid point. I know many of us born and raised in the United States would be trying hard to get back over to help our country if we were living overseas and disaster struck here. There is no shame in what the senator said, and it's only hyper-liberal pansy asses that would attack him for it.
