Report: Mike Nolan Signs as Dolphins Defensive Coordinator

Categories: Sports
After being turned down by their first two picks, the Miami Dolphins have signed Mike Nolan as their new defensive coordinator, according to FoxSports.com.

Nolan resigned Monday from the same position with the Denver Broncos and was previously DC under Bill Parcells when he was general manager of the NY Jets. He was also head coach of the San Francisco 49ers from 2005 until 2008, when he was memorably fired midseason.

In Denver, his defense finished seventh in the league, and he helped the team start with a 6-0 record before the Broncos dropped eight of their last ten games.
