We're pretty sure the ornately logo-ed purse trend has been done with for a while. Now that we're all "recessionistas" ladies who can still afford luxury leather goods prefer to buy expensive bags with the designer brand only noticeable to discerning eyes. Touting around a purse that cost $5000 and let's everyone knows it has too much of a "let them eat cake" vibe for these times.

But, hey, in spite of that, or maybe because of it, there's still a huge market for fake designer goods. NBCMiami reports that U.S. Customs and Border Protection just seized $5.2 million worth of knock-offs at Miami International Airport. LV and Gucci were among the brands counterfeited, and the haul included sunglasses, belts, and other duds.

No arrests have been made, but authorities say the goods came from China and were headed to central Florida.
