Chad Ochocinco Set for VH1 Dating Show, Promises Lady Gaga-esque Dancing Costumes

When Liberty City's Chad Ochocinco does something, he doesn't half-ass it. Especially when that something is utterly ridiculous. The man changed his last name to Ochocinco, after all.

So when it was announced he'd make the inevitable jump to reality TV by being a contestant on Dancing With the Stars, it was destined that it wouldn't be his only go at guilty-pleasure television.

No, Ochocinco is following in the hollowed footsteps of luminaries such as Flava Flav, Brett Michaels, Ray J, New York, and some chick named Meagan by bringing his search for love to VH1.

Titled The Tournament, the show features Ochocinco traveling the country to find four ladies who will then compete in a 16-woman tournament.

The potential future Mrs. Ochocinco will be chosen by whittling down to just one in competing double dates. The show begins in July and, boy, we cannot wait.

As for his stint on Dancing, he apparently plans to make his costumes about 50 precent Lady Gaga and 50 percent Rihanna.
