An adult humpback whale, though not the one caught in the Bay
There's a humpback whale in Biscayne Bay off Bear Cut, possibly in distress. The U.S. Coast Guard believe he could be caught in a rope attached to an anchor. A National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration biologist is on the way.

CBS4 suspects it may be the same whale that was caught up in a rope just last week off of St. Lucie County. If true, this is one unlucky whale.

Local 10 has a live stream from its helicopter on its website if you care to watch such a thing.
