Naked Pictures of Trina Are On the Internet, So, Of Course, the FBI is Involved
Trina tells MTV news that a thief stole her cell phone at the BET Awards last October, and that the criminal tried to shake her down for money.
"I just think it was my personal stuff and for someone to do that is so, so wrong. So now I'm actually having it looked into by the FBI and it's gonna be a bigger situation than just leaked photos. Hopefully we can deal with the situation and put an end to it," says the rapper.
This is basically the biggest photo scandal involving the rapper since that time Ocean Drive apparently photoshopped her famous curves away.
While some of the photos, which we won't link to, including a semi-topless shot are clearly of the rapper, she claims that a few of the more sensational shots aren't, and were mixed in to do extra damage.
Not all of the photos are sexy though. One shot includes a rash on Trina's arm that she says was meant for her doctor after having an allergic breakdown. Other photos show the rapper crying, and some (non-racy) shots with her ex-boyfriend, NBA player Kenyon Martin.
Apparently, Trina knew the pics were going to be leaked and spoke in an interview the week before about the possibility.
"I lost my phone and I have some pictures of me that I don't want the world to see. If they ever came out, I'll be devastated. It's not sex tape pictures, but still I don't want you to see it. But losing a phone and all this kind of stuff, it happens. It's a wake up call...you need to make sure that you don't have those kind of pictures in your phone."
It's not all bad news for Trina lately though.
Her latest single "Million Dollar Girl," featuring Diddy and Keri Hilson is one of the hottest things we've heard on pop radio from a Miami rapper in a while. She just released a mix tape and has a new album coming out in May. She's also got a promo deal as a spokesman for Diddy's Ciroc vodka. Plus, we're not sure if Jacki-O's Twitter is a reliable source of info, but apparently Miami's top female MCs were in the studio recently.
In the meantime, cell phone companies really need to figure out a way to erase content from cell phones if they're reported stolen, now that would be a million dollar idea, for sure.
