Some of men's tennis biggest stars are dropping like flies on Key Biscayne at this year's Sony Ericsson Open. Last year's champ, Andy Murray, went out in his first match, Novak Djokovic suffered another early defeat, and now top-seeded Roger Federer is done.

The most dominant player of the past five years was taken out by the little-known Tomáš Berdych, and not even Federer himself seems to have much of an explanation.

"I definitely lacked timing," he told reporters. "I don't know where that comes from because I was playing so nicely in Australia. Maybe the sickness took more out of me than I thought. I'm a bit confused with how I'm hitting the ball. Sometimes it flies and sometimes it doesn't."

You know, there are only a few things you shouldn't be confused by when you're a tennis player, and one of them is hitting the ball. In fact, that's probably the number one thing a tennis player should never be confused by.
