New Times decided to actually show a little restraint on one of our recent covers, and its ended up getting our models in trouble.

Two weeks ago, both Miami New Times and New Times Broward-Palm Beach ran a cover story about players for the Lingerie Football League's Miami Caliente team. Now quarterback Anonka Dixon (featured on Miami stands) and receiver Tina Caccavale (featured on Broward-Palm Beach) are in trouble for wearing too much clothing. Yeah, that's right: The league is mad that the ladies sported shoulder pads in addition to their regular uniform of bra and panties.

The story's author, Michael J. Mooney, details on the Juice the suspension and New Times ban on attending any future Lingerie Football League events.
