Anti-Obama Urologist Admits He Doesn't Know Much About HRC Bill

Dr. Jack Cassell, the dick doctor in Orlando who hates President Obama so much he put up a sign telling those who voted for him to get their urinary tracts checked elsewhere, has been all over the media. CNN, Fox News, the New York Times, you name it. He was even on Alan Colmes's show. (You remember Alan Colmes, don't you? He used to be the liberal cohost on Sean Hannity's Fox News show. Contrary to popular belief, Hannity did not gut him and eat him in front of his wife; he actually is alive and has a radio show.)

Colmes wanted to know why Dr. Cassell hated health-care reform so very much, and Washington Monthly points out the doctor isn't really sure. He has read some stuff online, and the whole thing seems rather confusing, and that's really enough for him to justify hating it.
The urologist specifically argued that officials, in light of the new law, are "cutting all supportive care, like nursing homes, ambulance services."

Colmes: What do you mean they're cutting nursing homes?

Cassell: They're cutting nursing home reimbursements.

Colmes: Isn't what they're cutting under the Medicare plan what was really double-dipping? They were getting credits and they were getting to deduct them at the same time.

Cassell: Well, you know, I can't tell you exactly what the deal is. [emphasis added]

Colmes: If you can't tell us exactly what the deal is, why are you opposing it and fighting against it?

What a good question. Cassell struggled to explain, saying he'd seen some things "online" and adding that the information he needs to understand the law "should be available to me."

Of course, the information is available to him and has been for months. Cassell chose not to do his homework before driving patients away -- patients who, it turns out, might know a lot more than he does about the law he claims to hate.
So basically, Cassell doesn't like reading and understanding big, long things. Wait, does that include urology textbooks? Maybe it is better that everyone, Obama supporters or not, see another doctor.
