Dead Body Found at Miami Metrozoo Identified

Miami Metrozoo workers were cutting branches to feed to giraffes when they found the body of a woman near the entrance of the zoo April 19. Police have now identified the body as that of 60-year-old Gloria Marinckovic of Kendall.

Marinckovic suffered from Alzheimer's disease and had gone missing from her home last month. Police don't believe the death was a murder but are still investigating. Early reports indicate that her body might have been burned. Though some grass around the body was blackened, police say it was not lit on fire. [SunSent]
