Two Teen Girls Escape From Center for Troubled Youth

The Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services Center provides emergency food, shelter and consoling for troubled youth and their families. Now, two teen girls disappeared from the center on the same day, and police are asking for the public's help in finding them.

Sixteen-year-old Amanda Nazario suffers from bi-polar disorder, and is considered 'endangered' because she needs medication to control the disorder. She's 5'2 with black hair, has a "peace" tattoo on her right shoulder, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.

Fourteen-year-old Lisa Varela also wandered away from the shelter on the same day. She's 5'3, about 115 pounds, has brown hair and eyes, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a red T-shirt.

Administration do not know if the girls escaped together, or if they even knew each other.

Anyone who sees the girls are asked to call the Miami Police Department at 305-579-6630 or 305-603-6304. [CBS4]
