Pimp Allegedly Shot Miami Beach Resort Murder Victim After He Hired Prostitutes

​Police are remaining tight-lipped about the mysterious shooting this past Saturday at the Miami Beach Resort & Spa that involved a rancid odor and the evacuation of the prime minister of Belize, but racy details are emerging.

CBS4's Jim DeFede reports the shooting victim was a tourist from Russia who arrived with a friend. The two decided to procure some prostitutes for the night, because we guess that's what two rich Russian dudes visiting Miami Beach do.

However, a pimp showed up and shot the man. There are few details beyond that.

Police have not yet released the identity of the man and won't confirm that they have any suspects. The victim's next of kin have not yet been notified of the death.

The pimp, with prostitutes in tow, apparently fled the resort before cops arrived. DeFede didn't get the bottom of the strange smell that engulfed the resort.

However, Lt. Ignatius Carroll of the Miami Fire Department told CBS4: "Somebody did something in there. This was nothing like a cleaning substance."
