Dolphins Receiver's Truck Found Crashed and Abandoned on I-595

According to the Palm Beach Post, a pickup truck belonging to Miami Dolphins receiver Brian Hartline was found crashed and abandoned on I-595 earlier this month.

Authorities say Hartline's truck crashed into another abandoned vehicle that was parked on the side of I-595 in the early-morning hours of July 3. FHP is still investigating who was driving Hartline's truck at the time of the crash.

This is the second time a Dolphins player's vehicle has been found crashed and abandoned.

In 2008, linebacker Channing Crowder crashed his Dodge pickup on Florida's Turnpike and abandoned it. He was later cited with careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

So it would seem that walking away and leaving their mangled vehicles on the side of the highway is something Dolphins players apparently agree is the best plan if they get into an accident. Walk away and pretend it never happened, they figure. Whistle as you walk too, if you must. No one will ever suspect we did it. And they're totally getting away with it too. They're making the FHP look like fools. Like fools!
