Ann Coulter Dropped From Miami Conservative Conference for Being Too Gay-Friendly

The wingnuts are coming! The wingnuts are coming! Yes, on September 17, all of America's favorite right-wing airbags will descend upon the Doral Resort & Spa right here in Miami for WorldNetDaily's Taking America Back Conference. Tom "Miami Is a Third-World Country" Tancredo, Michelle Bachman, Victoria "Obama Is a Communist" Jackson, and Doug "ACORN Hooker Dad" Giles are all scheduled to speak.

Suspiciously missing: Ann Coulter. She just got kicked off the bill because she does not hate gays nearly enough to be a real American, apparently.

Despite the fact that some conservatives such as Tancredo apparently don't appreciate our city, some of the more extreme figures in the political movement are scheduled to live it up in the lap of luxury while all applauding each other speeches. Coulter, the former ice queen of American wingnuttery, was scheduled to join them.

Now she's been unceremoniously kicked off the bill for also being scheduled to speak at Homocon, an event put on by gay Republican group GOProud. Yes, there are gay Republicans. How are they supposed to pay for those Fire Island beach cottages when Obama is redistributing all the wealth, hmm?

WorldNetDaily is making no secret of the fact that Coulter has been uninvited for not sufficiently hating gays.

"Ultimately, as a matter of principle, it would not make sense for us to have Ann speak to a conference about 'taking America back' when she clearly does not recognize that the ideals to be espoused there simply do not include the radical and very 'unconservative' agenda represented by GOProud," Joseph Farah, editor and CEO of WND, told the Daily News.

"Giving a speech is not an endorsement of every position held by the people I'm speaking to," Coulter has said, driving the point home by saying she thinks WND is insane for backing the birther conspiracy.

Coulter's track record with the gays has been mixed. She didn't hesitate once when she called John Edwards a "faggot"; however, she's said in the past: "I don't know why all gays aren't Republican. I think we have the pro-gay positions, which is anti-crime and for tax cuts. Gays make a lot of money, and they're victims of crime. No, they are! They should be with us."

Actually, darling, the GOP has very explicitly anti-gay positions. I mean, do you even know what party you're representing?
