Chuck Rabin's story this morning was a damn good start. Only problem is that it looked a lot like the very same story New Times staff writer Tim Elfrink published three weeks ago. The one difference we could spot: The FBI is looking into the deal.
For the record: Rabin is one of the hardest-working people at the newspaper. (Check out a byline search.) It's more a question of resources. The city has never been a top priority at the newspaper. I know. I used to cover it.
