LeBron James Is Now the Sixth Most Hated Athlete in America
![]() |
This past January, 24 percent of Americans had a positive view of LeBron compared to 22 percent with a negative view. Considering the average athlete has a score of 15 percent favorable compared to 24 percent unfavorable, that's pretty good. In fact, it was LeBron's highest Q Score.
Fast-forward past "the Decision," and it's no surprise his Q score has taken a tumble.
Fourteen percent of Americans still view LeBron favorably, but a whopping 39 percent view him unfavorably. Yikes. That makes LeBron the sixth most hated athlete in America. Here are America's top five most hated pro sports players:
- Michael Vick
- Terrell Owens
- Tiger Woods
- Chad Ochocinco
- Kobe Bryant
The rest of the Heat players aren't faring too well either. Twenty-one percent of Americans liked Dwyane Wade in January, but only 15 percent feel the same way now. Eighteen percent disliked him in January, but now 25 percent fall into that camp.
Chris Bosh saw his favorability drop from 13 percent to only 12 percent, but those who disliked him rose from 21 percent to 25 percent.
