LeBron Thinks Ohio State Will Beat 'Canes, May Attend Game

• Sorry, I just had to comment on this. Lebron is a front runner. He doesn't carry any loyalty to any team from Ohio (obviously). He's offering his "friendship" to Terrelle Pryor in the hopes that Pryor will choose to sign with his money pit of a marketing firm, LRMR. Let me ask you this - Was Lebron showing his childhood allegiances when he was sitting baseline at Kentucky basketball games? No, he was trying to recruit John Wall. He wore Yankee hats to Indians playoff games. He sat in Jerry Jones' private box at his new palace, decked out in Cowboys gear. <i>"And you are concerned about LeBron's safety? That goes to prove that LBJ made the right decision leaving the Cavs -- from the ownership to the fans, they are all SPOILED.</i>" This is a complete non sequitor, and I cannot understand how you made a cohesive statement from this. I'd also like for you to explain how we're spoiled by nearly 5 decades of losing. Lebron isn't going to have any safety issues, this is simply an attempt to add a dramatic second story line to the game. Truth be told, most Buckeye fans in Columbus don't care much about the Cavaliers or Lebron. Sure, he'll garner some boos, but in the end that will be all. Look, Lebron was one of us. It hurt when he left. Some people deal with it better than others, but the fact is that he's gone, and he humiliated us (as a fanbase and as people) on the way out. Anyhow, I wish you Heat fans the best. I just hope for your sake that it doesn't come down to Lebron having to shoulder the load, because as you've seen, he will not.

• Stupid assessment. LBJ is an OSU fan and now playing for the Miami Heat means that he'll be changing his favorite teams as well. I don't see LeBron dropping the Yankees just because he broke the heart of New Yorkers by signing with the Heat. And you are concerned about LeBron's safety? " Or perhaps he was a lifelong Ohio State Buckeyes fan who grew up in Akron which is squarely in the heart of Buckeye country. This notion that he's worried about his place in "Miami Sports" is ridiculous. And to be honest completely in line with the Miami d0uchebag mentality. Was he worried about his "star" when he showed up on ESPN Gameday last year before the USC game? Would you rather he flip life long allegiances because he now plays in South Beach? I might not like the puke but at least he's staying true to his childhood favorite. Miami sports fans have nothing in their city that compares to the passion Ohio State Football fans have for their program.

• I disagree with Mr. Munzenrieder's assessment of fandom in the city of Miami. The Heat actually come close to selling out most games, whereas Miami does barely better than 50% capacity, even for seemingly major home games. The 'Canes probably have more fans countrywide, but probably not in Miami.
