Dolphins Say They'll Submit Video Showing McClain Spitting on Crowder to the League
Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano says the video shows enough evidence to back up the allegations, and he says the team is submitting the video footage to the league office.
You can see the video below and judge for yourself.
Our take: Unless they're some kind of mutant half-man-half-chicken hybrid, no one cocks their head forward like that when they're engaged in a heated conversation. That looks like deliberate spitting to us.
Still, there's a Zapruder film quality to the video, and it may be difficult for the NFL to find something there. But if they deem that it's enough evidence ("Back, and to the left. Back, and to the left"), then we can expect a fine coming McClain's way, that he'll no doubt tweet his outrage in the third-person.
So, is there enough indisputable video evidence of spitting? And will McClain pay for his crime? Sorry, you're just going to have to wait for the powers that be to decide. We can tell you for a fact that there's indisputable video evidence that the Dolphins blow. We can give you that.
