Memoir Excerpts Dubya's Ghostwriter Left on the Cutting Room Floor

The most famous author coming to the Miami International Book Fair this year is a guy so devoted to a good read that he refused to put down a children's book even as the Twin Towers fell. We're talking, of course, about George W. Bush, who will be coughing up pretzels of presidential nostalgia on November 14, when he chats up his memoir Decision Points.

The book is being characterized as an achievement in mediocrity by early reviewers, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. That may be because our elite publishing-world sources hooked us up with an early draft.

Gotta say, it was a lot more entertaining pre-editing. Here's some of what Dubya's ghostwriter left on the cutting room floor:
