Brandon Marshall Being Sued By Former Dolphin Over Real Estate Dispute
![]() |
Surtain claims he entered an agreement with Landmark Custom Ranches back in October 2007 to build the home in question for $5.2 million. Though, Surtain had trouble coming up with financing, and Landmark declared them in default. He's already filed a suit against Landmark.
Then, last month, Marhsall came in and closed on a deal to buy the property. Surtain says he originally asked Marshall to give him time to hash out his dispute with Landmark, which Marshall originally agreed to, but apparently didn't stick with.
"It's been a nightmare," Surtain's wife, Michelle, told the Sun-Sentinel. "The strangest part about it, the part we can't understand or grasp, is how the (Marshall) closing even occurred. We had the documents."
Michelle says she wrote a heart-felt letter to Marshall explaining the situation, and let slip that the ordeal made her husband cry. Oh boy. Cheer up, Patty. On the plus side, you don't have to live in Southwest Ranches.
