• Haters are piling up in this comments section like pounds on Kim Kardashian come Christmastime.

• And to think the editor of this rag was invited to speak at the University of Miami School of Communication a few weeks ago.

• It is an utter embarrassment to your paper that this writer has a job. Every lede he writes is contrived and over-the-top. There are perfectly good writers out there, like myself, who are unemployed, while this hack will gets paid for this drivel. Excuse me if I am bitter but this is appalling.

• The lede shouldn't have been redacted just because it made light of a serious story. It should have been redacted because it was terrible, terrible writing.

• What is wrong with you? That's a terrifically offensive thing to say. As MJ said above "Way to trivialize a horrible crime AND be sexist at the same time."
