Woman Kills Boyfriend Before Committing Suicide

​Miami police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide involving a live-in boyfriend and girlfriend couple that happened sometime in the last 24 hours, reports The Miami Herald. Police believe the girlfriend shot and killed her boyfriend before shooting herself.

The incident happened at the couple's home at 1800 block of Southwest 11th Terrace. They had been dating for about three years.

Police are not sure what prompted the murder-suicide, and might not have discovered it so soon if the man's boss didn't call police after he didn't show up for work. Police report that man never missed work. He was last seen leaving work last night.

Police are interviewing neighbors to see if they heard any argument or gunshot. No motive has been established.

The names or ages of the couple have not yet been released.
