Dolphins to Interview Former Canes Offensive Coordinator Rob Chudzinski
The San Diego Times Union reports that the 'Fins have been granted permission to interview Chudzinksi, who currently serves as assistant head coach for the San Diego Chargers. Chudzinski was a three-year starter for the Hurricanes back in the '80s, and helped the team win two national championships as a tight end.
Previously, he was offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns and a tight ends coach for the both the Browns and Charges. He also was tight ends coach at the U between 1996 and 2000, before taking up the Offensive Coordinator job for two seasons.
Chudzinski' contract is up in San Diego, and is also being eyed as a possible OC candidate at Carolina.
The Dolphins are also looking at Cowboys tight ends coach John Garrett, who just happens to be the brother of Dallas's current head coach, Jason Garrett.
