Juan Carlos Rodriguez, the Miami-Dade police officer accused of fondling two teenage girls during a traffic stop, will have to rustle up a little less cash to head home for house arrest before his trial. A judge has reduced Rodriguez's bond from $150,000 to $80,000.

Rodriguez, a 24-year-old with four years on the force, was arrested last week.

Police say he pulled a car over in January near SW 88th St. and 157th Avenue and then subjected two female teens who were passengers to a lewd pat-down behind a drug store.

Even worse, detective suspect they weren't the first young women Rodriguez has assaulted. Rodriguez has been relieved of duty and isn't being paid while his case plays out.

It's not clear whether or not Rodriguez has already posted bail -- he doesn't appear in a Miami-Dade Corrections search for inmates, but former officers are sometimes protected by jailhouse privacy rules.
