Miller time may be coming to an end at American Airlines Arena. ESPN reported last night that as the trade deadline nears the Miami Heat are quietly shopping around Mike Miller in the hopes of landing a better center. Though, there chances of making a trade don't look so good.

Miller, the NBA's 2001 Rookie of the Year, signed a five-year, $29-million contract with the Heat over the summer, but a pre-season hand injury made him miss the first few months of the season. He's also sat out the last two games due to a head injury and ear infection. In the games he's played this season, he's only averaging 5.9 points.

ESPN says Miller is just about the only asset the Heat have available to make a trade. Which is worrisome, because the Heat have had trouble at the center position all season. The starting role at the position has changed all season, and LeBron James himself has even stepped into the role if he's needed.
