Miami Beach PD Says Officer Who Body-Slammed Woman in Melee Did Nothing Wrong

It has the potential, even if applied correctly, to cause permanent damage to the arteries and veins in the neck leading to blood clots, long term decreased blood flow, damage to the vegas nerve leading to partial paralysis and most importantly the potential for causing delayed onset strokes. • The officer handling the girl is not in question here, what is in question here is the private security officer putting a choke hold on a citizen on a public beach (no authority, unlawful detainment, false arrest, assault). The question here is what the officer arresting the girl did to a bystander in the crowd after the girl was subdued (police reports/statements says he assaulted the police officer in question, who received a gash on his head by said bystander... videos contradict that entirely, officer has no gash and does not appear to be in distress). The question here is what the police did after they arrived on the scene and physically assaulted bystanders in the crowd (lay hands on someone without consent who has done nothing wrong on public grounds is ASSAULT) by pushing them away and verbally abusing and threatening them. The question here is that all of the videos contradict nearly all of the statements by the Miami Police Dept. What this means it that everyone single one of those officers involved in that incident on a public beach should lose their jobs and be thrown in jail for a number of offense, most importantly LYING in their reports. It is so blatant because of the video evidence and the fact that they think they can get away with it is astounding. There is no precipitating cause that can justify their behavior, none. Their lies stand there exposed.

If all he was concerned with was taking her into custody and controlling the crowd he had the opportunity. Instead of doing so he instead lifted her off the ground and threw her to the ground. • I want to know why the private citizen with a security guard outfit (because thats all a security guard is) wasn't arrested for assault. He used a naked choke hold on a man, something every law enforcement officer knows is illegal and potentially fatal even if used correctly. He had no right to get hands on unless he was assaulted, then he has every right a private citizen (because thats all he is) has to defend himself but his rights end there.
