Miami Voice Celebrates the End of Natacha

With only $20,000 in campaign contributions, Miami Voice out-hustled Seijas's political machine, powered by the county's employee unions, lobbyists, and developers. Of course, it helped that the recall group was able to coordinate efforts with billionaire Norman Braman's recall of Alvarez.
Last night, as Miami Voice volunteers gathered at the Billiard Club in Miami Lakes to celebrate, some of the recallers were still stunned they pulled it off. Among the Seijas rebels were environmental activist and Eye on Miami blogger Alan Farago, who has been fighting Seijas since her support of a commercial airport at the former Homestead Air Force Base in the 1990s.
