The Daily Show: Rick Scott is Like Florida's Psychotic Stepdad

We're really surprised it took this long for The Daily Show to sink its teeth into Florida Gov. Rick Scott. There's certainly ample material. The guy's political career is like a bad satire that somehow became real. Last night, Scott got the ire of Jon Stewart in a roundup of the nation's new batch of Republican governors.

Apparently, Rick Scott is our psychotic stepdad, and Stewart takes particular aim at his desire to drug test state workers. Stewart then moves on to other Republican Govs, some of whom make as feel glad that we only have to deal with Scott. Though, honestly, we're kind of sick of our new stepdad. We kind of wish Uncle Charlie and his funny friend Steve would move back in.

Rick Scott is a scumbag. He is cutting pensions of police, teachers and fire fighters. These groups and others alike work in Florida and then retire and spend their money here. Most will now be leaving and scumbags that suck off the goverment tit will move in. Rick Scott has prepared for hurricane season buy purchasing and storing a second roof for his 9.2 million dollar home. I am prepared also, just paid my insurance that doubled. He runs for governor while under investigatoin for fraud and I bet I could not apply for most decent jobs with a pending traffic ticket. Goodluck Florida. Born and raised 45 years and I am out.

Yeah, he's saving Florida alright... by cutting 331,000+ jobs! Not to mention he wants to cut Florida education and a myriad of other public programs. He sure is saving the system to benefit him and his cronies back pocket.

Yeah, he's going to keep taxes from going up a few bucks but our homeowners insurance will double (about 3k more a year), what a crook. I can't believe Floridians were so stupid. The man is a know medicare fraudster which is the same as stealing our tax dollars and then we put him in office, go figure.
