The people who support homosexual activity demonstrate intolerance for those who believe it to be a sin. It is irrelevant whether sexual preference is a choice. It's not the orientation that is a sin, it is the act. I am heterosexual, but that does not mean I have to lust after women or commit adultery with them. I can choose to be faithful to my wife or to practice celibacy if she's not around.

Jesus never said prostitution was OK. He told the woman to go and sin no more. A homosexual lifestyle can be forgiven, just as a history of prostitution can be forgiven. But there has to be a desire to repent and abstain from the sinful behavior. It is not easy, but it can be accomplished with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Adultery, gossip, theft, fornication, homosexual activity: All of these are sins and all of these can be forgiven. Repentance is necessary, but God will help any person who desires to turn away from these sins to do so.

Whether we share religious views or not, free-minded individuals will view statements like Jackson’s as being reflective of hate. That being said, the question remains: does Jackson’s hate stem from her firm beliefs in The Word, or is it a form of manipulating her faith into a rationale of sorts for her innate hatred for certain lifestyles?

Some people are such hipocrites. Just because someone speaks out against gay rights doesn't mean they are wrong. All you people sit there and preach tolerance but don't tolerate other views.
